Do not be afraid of challenges and obstacles. Do not shy away from the unknown—instead view it as an opportunity to learn, grow, and show others the art of what is possible. The world is riddled with its fair share of problems. Let’s solve them.

Welcome to the world of STEM. Here, ideas are created, disputed, and applied towards solutions and applications that may one day change the world. As upcoming members, I encourage you to explore how far you can go with your ideas, no matter how small it is. I wish you the best of luck in exploring STEM not only as a field, but also as your form of sharing your curiosity with others.

To all incoming STEM members: Welcome to the club! If you are here, you most likely have some sort of interest, or perhaps passion, for a science or engineering related field. I’m here to tell you that your journey towards exploring this interest or passion will result in obstacles. You might want to quit because you’re bored, you find your project too difficult, or you are facing challenges working with a team—I’ve been through it all. But trust me on this one, and persevere all the way to the end, because even if you don’t win, the experience will be absolutely worth it.
